What is Sonic Crackers? It's indeed 'crackers' as it's the
weirdest Sonic game ever for 32x but never released. If you look
carefully at the above picture, see the bottom-right date. It's
April Fool day and I think SEGA released this sort of game to
trick gamers, for fun. Logic, isn't it?
Sonic Crackers is also said to be the original Knuckles Chaotix
since this game has 'ring ability', using Sonic and Tails. You
can perform new moves but of course, glitches can occur.
But, the backgrounds are pretty interesting, espeacially the
rainbow and waterfall above where Sonic can stand ON TOP of them
and they don't take any effect on Sonic.
They used Sonic 2 sprites, backgrounds are quite original. Refer
back to the first picture, 1P Start means playing one player only
where you can't control Tails on the second controller. 2P Start,
you guess it right. Playing as 2 players and you can control
Tails on the second controller. Option, selecting few options and
Select to select level. Quite neat!
See carefully at the pictures, Time Attack and Rings did appear.
The funny thing was, when Sonic is get hit by something, even
though he has 0 ring, rings will come out. SEGA always like to
make strange things that will puzzle people but won't tell them
what are they later on. Another sigh.
